ChemAlert will be hosting a stand (F1) at the Australasian Oil & Gas Exhibition & Conference, as well as having ChemAlert Mobile demonstrated in one of the new 'innovation pods' #13 located in the Innovation Zone.  We invite everyone to come and meet with us in the foyer just outside the main entry/exit doors.  Over the course of the conference, we will have many staff at the stand including; Scientists, Account Managers, Business Analysts, and Trainers.  Bring your questions, comments, feedback, or just come from a chat.  More information about the AOG conference can be found at: www.aogexpo.com.au

 

From the 1st of January 2012, new legislation has come into effect on the classification of chemicals; GHS.  This legislation has a 5 year transitional period, although some states in Australia have declined to approve the legislation due to the late release of the approved legislation.  For more information regarding GHS in Australia, click here to go to the SafeWork Australia website.

ChemAlert v3.2.0 (November 2010)

ChemAlert 3.2 has now been released!  Major new features include:

• Custom products:  The ability for users to create their own chemicals within the framework of the ChemAlert application.
• Upload SDSs:  All ChemAlert users can now upload updated electronic Manufacturer Safety Data Sheets to RMT through the ChemAlert application.  By adding collaborative functionality, we can ensure faster response times to updating Manufacturer SDSs.
• Greater reporting capabilities:  New stock reports including Placarding and Manifest, Major Hazard Facilities, Site Listing, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Listing, and ChemAlert GHS reports.
• Bulk actions:  Users can now bulk add/delete products to/from the Stock Register and Stock Holdings, and copy Stock Holding sites.
• Chemical Request workflow:  Improvements to the Chemical Request module that better facilitate workflow-like processes through the chemical approval process.
